Lower-wage workers receive significant support from the Government – in housing, healthcare, retirement and education.
In the pandemic, their situation has been precarious, which is why every COVID-19 Budget package has included extra support to lower income households. But beyond emergency assistance, lower-wage workers need longer term support.
